1.Trainnewfactoriesandpackagingsupplierstomakesuretheyunderstanddifferentcustomerspackagingrequirementswithin3daysofPOreceipt.

2.Followupwithmerchandisersforontimereceiptofphotosample.Anyphotosamplebeingdelayedtoreceive,pushVCSHOmerchandisingteam.

3.Reviewdailyinspectionreportforanypackagingrelatedissue,discusswithfactoryandprovidefinalsolutiontoitwithinaday.

4.Foranypackagingmaterialensurethatpriortoproduction,factoryorpackagingsuppliergetsapprovalfromyouorfromVCUSoffice.Anyapprovalneedstobesignedoffonitwithemailconfirmingtheapproval.

5.Reviewredsealalongwithmerchandisingandadvicecommentsontheproductfrompackagingpointofview.

6.ProvideweeklyupdateonpackagingtoVCUSofficeandtoVCSHOmerchandisingteam.

7.Docommonfillingwithmerchandisingteam(softandhardcopy)–fillingneedstoincludepackaginginstructionandanyapprovalbeinggiventosupplier.

8.Asandwhenneeded,assistVCUSofficedevelopingpackaginginstructionsaccordingtoPO,sketchandcustomer/sale’srequirements.

9.WorkcloselywithVCUSpackagingteamonpackagingdevelopment,sampling,photographing

Requirement:

•Mustspeak,read,writeandtypeinbothMandarinandEnglish

•MustknowhowtousePhotoshop,Illustratoraplus.

•Musthavegreatorganizational,operationalandcommunicationskills

•Mustbedetail-oriented

•Greatfollow-upskills

•Greatatfollowingdirections

•ExperiencedintranslatingEnglishtoMandarinforPackingDocuments/Instructionswhenrelayinginformationtothefactories

•Prefercandidatetocomefromhometextileindustry,withaminimumof1yearexperience-butwouldalsoconsideracandidatefromanotherconsumerproductscompanywherepackagingisinvolved

•Mustbethorough/accuratewhenexplainingPacking/PackagingInstructionstoourQCInspectors,sothattheycanaccuratelyinspectthatitisdoneaccordingtospecification
