Keytasks:

Tomakesurethatallcontractobjectivesaremet,contractisexecutedontimeandwithinthebudget.

TohavefunctionalresponsibilityfortheContractGroup(Design,Purchasing,ProductionControlandInstallation)

ToensurethatallContractGroupmembersfollowtheorderedconceptandspecification.

Tomonitorcontractprogressandbudget.

Tobeprimepointofcontactwithcustomerduringthecontractperiod.

Reporting

EnsurethatValidationmeetingtakesplaceandisdocumented.

EnsurethatContractFollowupmeetingstakeplaceandaredocumented.

EnsureDesignReviewstakeplaceandaredocumented.

Regularreportingofstatusofcontractsincludingfinancialopportunitiesandthreats-PCS.

Reportingandresolvingnonconformities.

EnsurethatCloseOutmeetingtakesplacetosharefeedbackanddocumentaccordingly.

Planning

Regularupdatingofthecontractprogramtoensuremilestonesareadheredto.

Commercial

Toagreeastohowthecommercialaspectsshouldbehandledduringthecontractperiod.

Monitorthatinvoiceshavebeenraisedandpaymentsreceived.

Requirements:

•B.Scorhighertechnicaleducation;

•Severalyearsofdocumentedexperiencefrominternationalcontractwork.Techn.andecon.knowledgeincombinationwithcommonsenseandinterest;

•Abilitytoco-operate/createandmaintaingoodcontactswithcustomersandtheprojectgroup;

•TechnicalskillsShipBuildingtechnologies,RoRoknowledge;

•Installationmethods;

•Knowledgeinmanaging,analysingsituationsandmakedecisions;

•Communication/teamworkskills;
