•Providesguidanceanddirectiontothevariousdevelopmentandbusinessgroupsonstandardsthatdrivequality,performance,security,totalscalability,flexibility,usersatisfactionandlong-termmaintainability.

•Managethearchitecturetosupportbusinessprocessesaswellasbusinessinnovations.

•Worksacrossallsoftwaresystemstocomprehendandrecommendimprovementsandenhancementsofexistingandfutureimplementationsandtosetthedirectionforprojects.

Dutiesandresponsibilities:

•Knowsindustrystandardsandbestpracticesforbuildingthearchitecturalconceptsincludingthewayhowtodescribethecomplexityofthearchitecture.

•Followsbothglobalandlocalmarketstrendsandemergingtechnologies.

•Maintainsexpertiseintheareaofarchitecture,includingindustrytrends,strategies,andproductstoensurethatamulti-yearinvestmentstrategyisinplacetosupportfuturebusinessneeds.

•Employsarchitectureintotheearlystagesofpreparationsanddiscussions.

•Isresponsibleforthesolutionarchitectureofbothglobalandlocalapplicationsandstructuralchanges.

•Deliversandpresentsdesignsthatmeetbusinessrequirementsincludingtimelinessandbudgetaryguidelines.

•Analyzesbusinessandtechnicalrequirementsineffortstoidentifythebestsystemdesign,potentialissues,andrelatedcostforeachprojectrequest.

•Buildsandmaintainsalibraryofarchitecturedocuments,model,andsurroundingdocuments,describingAS-ISandTO-BEstateofarchitecturalchangesrelatedtomainlogicandfunctionalbusinesschangesinkeyprojects.

•IstheArchitectureEvangelist,spreadingtheknowledgeandacceptanceofproperarchitectureconcepts.Thearchitecturewillbepartner/initiatorfromthebeginningofdevelopingnewbusinesscases.

•WorkscloselywiththeEnterpriseArchitectontheGrouptopreparestrategiesanddefinerequirementsinadvanceofapplicationdevelopmentandwillhaveanintimateknowledgeoftheapplicationarchitecture.

•DrivesthearchitecturealignedwiththeGroupprojects.

•Participatessignificantlyinproposingaconsistent,well-integrated,enterpriseapproachtothedeploymentofourdevelopedtechnologystackandsharedservices.

•Hasaholisticknowledgeofthebusinessprocessesandthewholeapplicationlandscape

•Isguarantorofpragmatismandtherightapproachtowardsthesuccessfulbusinesscase.

•Providesmentoringtolessexperiencedteammembers

•Buildsandmaintainsateammethodology.

•Ensuresdataqualityofthearchitecturelibrary(model)

•Helpswiththeautomationofthereportingcapabilitiesintheteambasedonthemodel.
