•Visitmillsdailytomonitorgreigeandfabricproductiontopreventdelaysinproduction

•Responsibleforontimedeliveryoffabricfromhighriskmills

•Understandinspectionsystemandcheckfordyeplan,printplan,productionreadydate,anddeliveryrecords

•IdentifyandescalatefabricissuestoRawMaterialsleaderstopreventproductiondelays

•Monitormillprocesstoensureproperprocessisinplace.PartnerwithRawMaterialsleaderstocreatecorrectiveactionplan

•AbilitytoidentifyfabricdefectssuchasdyingandknittingaswellasunderstandingCarter’sdefectsperbrandmanualrequirements

•Understandinspectionprocesswiththeabilitytoconductadhocauditswhenneeded

•Experiencetestinggarmentsforshrinkageandcrocking

•ProvidedailyproductionstatusreporttoRawMaterialsleadersshowingpercentoffabricunderproductionversusfinished

•WorkcloselywithnominatedmillstoensuretheyunderstandCarter’sSOPandinspection/testingrequirementsfromMSstagetofinalfabricshipment

•PartnerwithnominatedmillstoensureallMSandbulkfabricmeetqualityandaestheticrequirementsbeforetheyaresenttoRMT

•ProactivelyreviewfabricwithnominatedmillsproductionandqualitymanagersonallqualityandcapacityissuestoavoidimpactonCarter’sorders’delivery

•Reviewandanalyzemill’sinternalinspectionandtestingreporttoensureallbulkfabricmeetsCarter’srequirements

•Reportanyissuesandanynegativetrendstothemillmanagementandrequestanactionplantocorrectthedefects

•PreviewtheMSand1stbulkatfactorytoensurenosurprisetoRMTandSourcingteamifonsiteapprovalisneeded

•ManageMSdelivery,1stbulk,bulkshipment,andWIPmanagementinthemills

•TrainofmillQCtoensuretheyunderstandCarter’sinspectionrequirements

•Followuponcolordevelopmentwhenneeded

•Abilitytoperformon-siteinspectionforanyclaimshipmentwithinChina

•Partnerwithmilltoplanproductionwhenpresentedwithshipmentdelays

•On-sitepre-evaluationonmilleithertheyaresupplierin1stseasonor1sttimeproductionofanewproductandprovidereportandupdatestoRMT

•Abilitytoassessandevaluatemillassupplierforfirstseasonorfirsttimeproducerofanewproduct

•Abilitytolead1-2directreports

任职要求:

•Familiarwith4-pointsinspectionsystem

•Understandingofwovenandknitfabricandtheircommondefects

•Experienceonpreparematchingtableforbody/DTMtrims

•Munsellhuecoloreyetestwithscorenotmorethe8

•ProficientonMicrosoftsoftwarelikeexcel,word,accessetc.

•Basiccomputerknowledgeismust

•CanreadandwriteEnglishemail

•Minof8yearsfabricinspectionexperienceandwith2yearssupervisionexperience(lessexperiencewillbeconsideredasFabricQA)

•ProvenexperienceforinspectionforChildrenapparelfabricsandorderfollowupatfactorylevel

•Experienceoftrimsinspectionwillbeanadvantage

•ExperienceofUStestingforChildrenapparelincludingsafetywillbeanadvantage
