UplayPCisUbisoft's1stpartyplatformforPCgames.Ourmissionistobringourgamingexperiencetoourplayersaroundtheworld,adaptingittolocalspecificationswhenneeded.WearenowworkingondevelopinganddeployingalocalenvironmentinChina.ThiswillrequiretheUplayPCteamtohavelocalpresencetobeabletodeliverandmaintainthebestservicetoourChineseplayers.

Asapartoftheteam,youwouldberesponsibletodeliverthenewwebexperienceofUplayPC,usingawidespectrumoftechnologiesrangingfromC#ontheservertoTypeScript,HTMLandSCSSontheUIside.

Youwilljoinamulti-disciplinaryteamwhereeveryoneiswillingtoexpandtheirknowledgeandareencouragedtocontinuelearningnewthings.Theteamischaracterizedbypassion,comraderyandtheloveforpcgaming.Youwillworkinclosecollaborationwiththeotherprogrammers,designersandtesterswiththeopportunitytovisitandworkfromcollaboratingstudios.

ThisjobwillrequirethatthepersongoestoSwedeninthebeginningandworkswiththeteamfor1-3months.

Responsibilities:

•Writeclear,modularandmaintainablecode

•Participateinorleadfeaturetaskforcesfortechnicaldesignandimplementation/improvementofnewfeatures.

•Testing,debugging,profilingandmaintainingexistingcode,includingtheUplayPCbackofficeself-serviceportal.

•Developandmaintainnewpublic-facingwebapplications,shownintheUplayPCclientandontheweb,usingVue.jsfortheclient-sideapplicationandASP.NETCoreWebAPIserverside.

Youasaperson:

Webelievetosucceedinthisroleyou’rearesultfocusedperson,whoispassionateaboutdevelopingplatformsoftwareforgameswithmillionsofusers.Furthermore,youbelieveinteamownershipofwhatyoucraftandwillbeworkingwithyourcolleaguestolearn,shareideasandsolvecomplexproblems.

Qualifications:

•ExcellentC#,JavaScript(TypeScript),CSSandHTMLskills.

•3+yearsofprofessionalprogrammingexperience.

•Bonus:Vue.js,ASP.NETWebAPI,.NETCore,AWS,ElasticSearch,ProtocolBuffers,ContinuousIntegration.
