焊装工艺规划工程师WearelookingforahighlymotivatedengineertohelpoptimizetheperformanceoftheGigafactoryinRenoNevada.Specificresponsibilitiesincludeoptimizingtheflowofpeople,processandmaterialthroughthefactoryandcollaboratingwithhighlytechnicalcross-functionalteamstoensurethatthefactoryachievesthelowestdollarperwatt-hourbatterycostpossible.
Responsibilities:
CompileandmanageKPIsforwarehouseandmaterialhandlingoperationswithrelationtoprogrammatictargets.Goalsinclude:
Dramaticreductioninmaterialhandlingwaste
Improvementinlaborefficiency
Optimizedspaceutilization
Highaccuracypartselection
Improvedreuse/recycleratesforpackagingetc
Performvalue-streamanalysistoimprovefactoryperformance.
Supportthedevelopmentandanalysisoffactorylayoutconceptstounderstandandquantifytradeoffs.
Supportadvancedtrouble-shootingandimprovementofexistingmaterialflowsystemsandprocedures
WorkwithFactoryDesignandOperationsto
Optimizeshippingandreceivingarealayouts.
Optimizewarehouseconfigurationandoperations.
Optimizematerialflowaislelocationsandsizing.
Quantifycostandoperationalimpactofpotentialmaterialstorageanddeliveryimprovements
Requirements
BachelorsdegreeinIndustrialEngineering,ManufacturingEngineering,orSupplyChainManagement
8+yearsofindustrialengineering,materialflowmanagementorwarehousemanagementexperiencepreferred;manufacturing,supplychainand/orlogisticsexperiencedesirable.
Workingknowledgeofmaterialflowandmanufacturingsystems
In-depthknowledgeofmaterialflowmethodologies:sequencing,kitting,repack,etc
Understandingofleanmanufacturingconcepts
Abilitytoleadkaizeneffortsandsolveproblems
Stronganalyticalandorganizationalskills.Abilitytomanageseveralcomplexprojectsatthesametime.
ExperiencewithAutoCAD2Dmodelingisaplus.
MasteryofWord,Excel,PowerPoint,Visio.
Communicateseffectivelyatallorganizationallevels,bothorallyandinwriting.
