JOBDESCRIPTION:

DuraisseekingaProcessEngineertoperformvariousroutineandlesscomplexstandardengineeringdutiesrelatedtotheplanninganddesignofnewproducts,improvingmanufacturingmethodsandinitiatingdesignchangesforcosteffectivenesswithalimitedexerciseofjudgment.SomeoftherequirementsoftheProcessEngineerarebutnotlimitedtothefollowing:

-Experienceconductingpartfeasibilityassessmentbasedondrawingsand/orCAD

-FluentunderstandingofGD&T

-Experiencereviewingsupplierquotesforfeasibilityandcost

-LeaddesignapprovalprocessinaccordancewithDuraAPQPprocess

-Actasthetechnicalexpertontheproblemsolvingteam

-Abilitytoworkindependentlyandwithgroups

-Excellentcommunicationwithinternalandexternalcustomersaswellaspeersandmanagement.

-Self-motivatedandcomfortableworkingwithbroaddirection

-OpenCADfilesinSpinfire,SolidWorksorequivalenttomeasurecomponentfeatures

STANDARDQUALIFICATIONS:

-Education-Bachelor’sDegreeinascientificfield(WeldingEngineering,ManufacturingEngineering,MechanicalEngineeringorequivalentpreferred)

-Experience-Three(3)toeight(8)yearsofrelatedexperience.Additionaleducationmaybesubstitutedforexperienceandviceversa.
