•LeadintegrationofMechanical,Electro-hydraulicandElectronicdrivetrainmodulesandsystemsintocustomervehicles.

•LeadEngineeringinterfacewithcustomers

•Develophydrauliccontrolmoduleandcomponentrequirementsfromsystemrequirements

•Developanintimateknowledgeoftheproductstoassureahighlevelofself-relianceforissuesresolution

•Trackandreportproductconformancetocustomerrequirements

•NegotiatecustomercommitmentsinclosecoordinationwithBWSalesandProgramManagement

•Ensurealldeliverables&timingareclearlydefinedandcommunicatedtotheorganization

•ManagerelationshipwithcustomerEngineering

•WorkcloselywithSalestocoordinatetechnicalsupportfornewbusinessopportunitiesandnewtechnologydemonstrations

•Presentproductdesignandsystemperformanceandobtainconcurrencefromcustomer

•Participateincustomerproductdesignteammeetings

•Maintaincustomeractionitemslistandmanagecommitmentstoensurecustomerneedsaremet

•CoordinateallcustomerEngineeringactivities

•Supportanalysisofprototypepartsincustomervehicles/transmissions

Requirements

MasterdegreeinAutomotive,Mechanical,orElectricalEngineering(required)

Minimumof5yearsofpowertrainengineeringexperience(required)

Abilitytoworkeffectivelyacrossfunctionalandgeographicboundariesintheinterestofthecustomerandthebusiness(required)

Experiencedevelopingautomatictransmissionsystems(preferred)

Experiencewithworkingwithcustomers(required)

Excellentinterpersonalskills(required)
