TheEngineeringManagerofElectronicsEngineeringwillberesponsibleforleadingateamofSystemsandElectricalEngineersinthedesignanddevelopmentofsystemsandelectricalworkproductsforautomotivemechatronicprojects.Inthisrole,theManagerwillleadtheelectronicengineeringdevelopmentteaminthedevelopmentofworldclassproductsolutionsincludingensuringAPQPprocessesareachievedon-timeandunderbudget.TheManagerwillbeprimarilyresponsibleforworkingdirectlywiththecustomersintheAPregionaswellasincooperationwiththeCompetencyManagersforSystems,ElectricalandSoftwareEngineering.TheManagerwillalsoberesponsiblefordepartmentbudgets,spending,employeedevelopment,andcustomersupportduties.

Theidealcandidatemusthavea“go-getter”mentality,isn’tafraidtoaskquestionstosolveproblems,hastheabilityandpersonalitytoleadandmotivateengineeringteams,isateamplayerwiththeflexibilitytoadapttothedynamicautoindustry,hastakenaproductthroughthefulldevelopmentlifecycleseveraltimes,andcanstaysharpunderpressure.

KEYJOBRESPONSIBILITIES:

•ResponsibleforleadingthedevelopmentofElectricalworkproductsofaglobalelectricalengineeringteam.

•ResponsibleforleadingthedevelopmentofSystemsworkproductsofaglobalsystemsengineeringteam.

•ResponsiblefordevelopingAPQPcompliantworkproductsforbothelectricalandsystemsdeliverables.

•Supportingcontinuousimprovementofallengineeringcompetencies

•Responsiblefordevelopingtheskills,capabilitiesandworkqualityofbothelectricalandsystemsengineers

•Responsibleforselecting,hiringanddisciplinaryactionofengineeringorganizationwithspanofcontrol

•Internalinterfacesinclude,butarenotlimitedto:programmanagement,productdevelopment,processengineering,testing/validation,systemsengineering,businessdevelopmentandsales,advancedprojectpurchasing,advancedqualityandadvancedengineering.

•Responsibletoensureprojectmilestonesarebeingachievedwiththehighestquality

•ResponsibletoensurefirstpassDVandPVareachieved

•Responsibletoidentifyandassessrisksthatcouldimpactprojecttiming,costorquality

•Responsibletosupportnewbusinessacquisition,quotingandcustomerreviews

•Responsibletoensureallproductlinesaresupportedwiththeneededskillsandnumberofresourcesforsuccess

•ResponsibletodefineanddrivegrowthstrategiesandcontinuousimprovementconceptsacrossglobalteamswithintheElectricalandSystemsspace.

JOBREQUIREMENTS:

•AutomotiveElectronicsdevelopmentexperience(Required)

•FunctionalSafetyexperience(ISO26262)(Required)

•WorkingknowledgeofDOORS(DOORsNextGen)

•WorkingknowledgeofAutomotivecommunicationsystemssuchasCAN,LIN,SENT(Required)

•15+yearsworkinginDesignofautomotivemechatronicssystems(Required)

•10+yearsofrelatedexperienceworkingindesignanddevelopmentofelectronicsproductsasanelectrical,systemsorsoftwareengineerwithintheautomotiveindustry(Required)

•10+yearsofrelatedleadershipexperiencehavingsuccessfullylaunchedseveralmechatronicsproductsintoseriesproduction

•Bachelor’sDegreeinEngineering(Electrical,orSoftware)(required)
