-Define,prioritizeandselectmarketandcustomeropportunitiesthroughthoroughunderstandingofthevaluechain,strengthsandweaknessofproductsandone'scompetitiveposition

-Initiatedevelopmentofdifferentiatedproductsorproductimprovementsbasedupondefinedcustomerandmarketneedsandworkcloselywithrelevantdepartmentstodevelopproducts

-Identifyandproposeimprovementstosystemsandprocessestoachieveimprovedqualityandefficiency

-Prioritize,selectanddevelopnewopportunities

-Manageassignedinnovationprojectsinaprojectmanagerrole

-Defineandimplementmarketingcommunicationinitiatives

-Securelong-termbusinessvaluethroughpatentingandjointcustomerprojectcontracts

-ManagesegmentEBITandproductlifecycle

People

-SupportandcoachtheactivitiesofSalesandTechnicalServicebyprovidingsalesandmarketingtoolsandtraining

-Co-ordinateandsupportproductdevelopmentandR&Dduringthedifferentstagesofaprojecttoensurealignmentandfitbetweenmarketandcustomer

Customer

-Maintainfrequentcontactwithkeycustomerstounderstandcurrentandfuturemarketandcustomerrequirements

Interfaces

-Developliaisonswithkeyplayersinthevaluechain

-Developliaisonswithrelevantindustryorganizationstogatherinformation,improveimageofBorougeandinfluenceindustry’sfuturedirection

Qualifications,experience,knowledge&skills:

-Minimumqualification:UniversityorBachelordegree

-MBAorpost-graduatequalificationsinMarketingwillbeanadvantage.

-Minimum5-8yearsofrelevantworkexperienceintechnicalservice,productdevelopmentandmarketdevelopment

-Thoroughunderstandingthestructureandthefactorsthatinfluencedemand,profitabilityandinnovation

-Detailedtechnicalandcommercialunderstandingoftheproductsandtheirapplications

-Thoroughstrategicunderstandingofcustomersandothervaluechainmembers'needsandtheabilitytomatchthiswithBorougetechnicalcapabilities

-Experienceinworkinginexportmarketswouldbeanadvantage

-Goodknowledgeofmarketingsalesmanagementtechniques
