BASICFUNCTION
AccountableforexecutingtheNewProductScheduleutilizingcross-functionalresourcesandtheNPDprocess.DevelopoverallNPDstrategyandobjectivestoensurethecompanyachievesitsoverallbusinessgoals.
SPECIFICRESPONSIBILITIES
?Havefullresponsibilitiesforensuringhighqualityproductsaredeveloped,manufacturedandshippedontimeasdefinedbythecommitmentsdocumentedintheNewProductSchedule.
?Analyzeandadviseonmanufacturinglocationforallnewandexistingproducts.Ownyearlymanufacturinglocationcostsavingsgoals.
?DevelopandmaintainProductCouncil.LeadProductCouncilmeetingsandreportdecisionsanddirection.
?Anticipatesandmanagestasks/riskswithineachphaseofaproject.Determineprobabilityandimpactofrisks.Developstrategicplanstoreduceimpactofrisks.
?Autonomouslymanagethedevelopmentprocessandcommunicatetoseniormanagementonavarietyofprocessesandtechnicalissues.Hasrespectedknowledgeofmajorsystemcomponents.
?EstablishandmaintainrelationshipswithseniormanagementforthepurposeofaligningNPSobjectivesandremovingobstaclesforprojectcompletion.
?Definesdecision-makingprocessforprojectteams.Coachesprojectteampersonneltodevelopandimplementcross-functionalsolutionstocomplexissues.
?Makesinformeddecisionsintheeventthattheprojectteamcannot.Decisionsmadearecriticalandhavesignificantfinancialandscheduleimpacttotheprogram/company.
?Managesmultipleprojectssimultaneously.
?Prioritizecross-functionalhumanresources.
?Provideperformanceexpectationsandevaluationforcross-functionalresourcesonprojectteams.Thisinputwillbeprovidedtotheappropriatesupervisorandwillhaveequalweightwiththatoffunctionalperformanceexpectationsandevaluations.
?WorkwithseniormanagementtoocontinuallyimprovetheNPDprocessandorganization.

OrganizationRelationships:
1.FrequentcollaborativeassociationswithseniormanagementinMarketing,Purchasing,IndustrialDesignandManufacturing.

1.Collaborativeassociationswithsuppliers.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’sDegree
-8yearsofrelatedworkexperience,withatleast3yearsasprojectleaderorgroupleader.
-Plantworkexperience.
-Canhandlenewproductprojectindependently.
-Havecross-functionalworkexperience,suchasaccountleader,planner,sourcing,qualityandprojectmanager.
-Excellentcommunicationskillandinterpersonalskill.
-Goodflexibilityandcanworkunderhighpressure.
-Strongleadershipandanalyticalskill.
-GoodEnglishspeakingandwritingskill,goodPCskill.
-Domestictravelrequired
